Dissertation revisions are complete and accepted, so I am officially all done! Fuller's dissertation defense process includes an outside reader, whose name appears on the dissertation approval sheet but who is not a part of the defense itself. My outside reader, from the perspective of language, gender, and sexuality studies, made a number of suggestions for revisions, but my defense committee was satisfied with the dissertation as it was. Nonetheless, I chose to adopt some of the revision suggestions, and hope to include more of them in a published version of the dissertation -- which is my next project to consider.  I plan to focus  on and add to the chronotopic analysis I did in the dissertation, looking at chronotopes of truth, justice, and love in my data--and also of falsehood/lies, injustice, and hate (and how all these chronotopes interact).
